About The Position
The University Health Center provides a comprehensive array of health care services and health education programs to JMU students. Included in our health care services are several medical clinics, a pharmacy, a medical laboratory, and other programs that provide services for more than 30,000 patient encounters a year. UHC practices evidence-based medicine in a confidential, inclusive environment.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse in Virginia
- Experience with acuter care triage, phlebotomy, point of care labs testing, EKG’s, IV’s, immunizations, and specialty medications
Responsibilities
- Maintain nursing skills including Nurse Triage, initial assessment, phlebotomy, administering immunizations and TB skin tests.
- Work with team members to ensure students’ needs are met in a timely manner.
