About The Position

Validation Associates LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide patient care at Bear Canyon Rehabilitation Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This is a 13-week, full-time contract assignment paying $32.00 per hour, with 36 guaranteed hours per week. The shift is 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with a 30-minute meal break. This is a new opening. Requirements

Active LPN or LVN license in New Mexico, or ability to obtain one.
Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
Current BLS/CPR certification.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and care teams.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment.

Nice To Haves

Prior LPN/LVN experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and providing wound care.
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and progress in medical records.
Educate patients and families about health conditions, medications, and post-care instructions.
Perform routine clinical procedures such as catheter care, IV maintenance, and specimen collection.
Observe and report changes in patient condition to supervising nursing staff or physicians.
Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant care environment in accordance with regulatory standards.
