About The Position

PAM Health is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for a full-time day-shift position at Tavares Rehab. The nurse provides appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit, consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. Care must be appropriate to the patient’s age and population. Duties include gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures. Other related duties may be assigned or requested.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates.
• Current BLS certification; certification must be AHA-approved within 90 days of employment.
• Current IV certification within 90 days of employment if required by state regulations.

Nice To Haves

• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit.
