About The Position
Bruce Community Living Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate, personalized care to residents. The role includes evaluating and delivering care according to physician orders, the plan of care, and the LPN’s scope of practice. The nurse monitors residents, communicates with residents and their families and care providers, and maintains accurate medical records. Other tasks may be required. Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
- BLS license.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and deliver care, including medication administration, treatments, and activities of daily living, as ordered by a physician and outlined in the plan of care, within the scope of practice.
- Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident activity and ensure residents receive quality care in accordance with professional standards and facility policies.
- Communicate with residents, family members, physicians, and the supervisor regarding resident status.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate medical records during the tour of duty on the assigned unit.
- Perform other tasks as required.
