About The Position
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, provides patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluation. Uses good judgment. Utilizes patient care supplies/equipment in a fiscally responsible manner. Exhibits positive interpersonal skills. All team members of Southeast Georgia Health System will promote a culture of safety, follow established policies, adhere to all state and federal regulatory requirements, Joint Commission requirements, and national patient safety standards. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide patient compassionate care at the bedside of our patients every day. Requirements
- Graduate of an LPN program
- Current LPN license to practice in the State of Georgia
- A minimum of one year previous nursing experience
Responsibilities
- Effectively managing the care of assigned patients using knowledge, skills, judgement, and decision-making skills for the specific area and patient population
- Delivering patient care utilizing standardized evidence-based guidelines of care and appropriate resources, including personnel, services, supplies, and equipment
- Communicating, collaborating, and functioning with other members of the health team to provide optimum care
