Licensed Practical Nurse - LRC
About The Position
This is a full-time position for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at the Lincoln Regional Center, a Joint Commission accredited state psychiatric hospital focused on patient-centered care. The role involves delivering compassionate, person-centered care, applying clinical expertise in a fast-paced environment with diverse patients, collaborating with a healthcare team, and participating in ongoing education. The facility offers a collaborative environment, growth opportunities, an engaging culture, comprehensive benefits, and a focus on work-life balance with new full-time schedules. The new full-time schedules involve three 12-hour shifts per week, totaling 36 hours. Available shifts are 7pm - 7am or 7am - 7pm, with work every other weekend. The starting pay rate is $40.00/hour, with an additional $3/hour facility differential pay and potential shift differential pay for new hires.
Requirements
- A current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Nebraska or authority based on the Nurse Licensure Compact to practice as a licensed practical nurse in Nebraska.
- Must be at least 19 years of age.
- Must be able to attend 3 weeks of new employee orientation during day hours.
- Must be able to push, pull and lift up to 60 lbs.
- Must have a valid driver's license or the ability to provide independent authorized transportation.
