About The Position
Saint Mary’s Health Network is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills within the scope of practice. The role supports patients’ psychosocial, physical, and general care needs and communication needs of patients and families. The nurse performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. The position is full time with a variable shift.
Requirements
- Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Obtain IV certification within 6 months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum one year of experience in an applicable setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care services within the scope of practice.
- Meet patients’ psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care.
- Meet the communication needs of patients and their families.
