Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (77262)
About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Travel Licensed Practical Nurse to join their Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Illinois River Correctional Center in Canton, IL. This role involves providing holistic nursing care within the scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical/psychiatric staff. Travel LPNs assigned to Illinois can earn up to $2,165/week, including a non-taxed weekly stipend. Travelers are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees with opportunities throughout the country. The Eagle (Travel team) LPN will work at various facilities/locations throughout Illinois, per contract needs, with each assignment restricted to one location.
Requirements
- Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Illinois.
- Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility.
- Must be 90+ miles from the selected facility.
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- Corrections experience preferred.
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
