About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers with 18 locations across 7 states. Offering the very highest standard of medical and clinical treatment, our services span every level of care - including detox, residential, PHP IOP, and outpatient services. Avenues is both JCAHO and CARF accredited, and in full compliance with all ASAM standards. We are looking for compassionate professionals who appreciate stimulating yet meaningful work to join our all-star team. We are now hiring LPNs for Day Shift (7am-7pm).

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program
• Current LPN licensure in Pennsylvania or compact licensure with multistate privileges
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate, professional, and committed to providing exceptional patient care

Nice To Haves

• Experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge
• Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs
• Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client
• Provide patient education in individual and group settings
