About The Position

This is a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position serving as a Wellness Nurse in an Assisted Living and Memory Care community. The role focuses on providing resident-focused care, building meaningful relationships, and working in a supportive environment where clinical expertise is valued. Unlike hospital settings, this role emphasizes quality of life over constant crisis management, with opportunities to mentor caregivers and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Requirements

  • Active Kansas LPN license or Compact LPN license required
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing with the state licensing agency, as required by state regulations.
  • CPR/AED certified.
  • Must have at least one (1) year of experience working as an LPN in a senior care setting.
  • Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Assisted Living or Memory Care experience preferred
  • Charge Nurse or leadership experience preferred
  • Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily supervision and leadership to assigned non-licensed associates and other designated personnel in meeting the residents needs and monitor the condition of residents in AL.
  • Demonstrate good decision-making skills.
  • Make work assignments and meet with associates regularly to assist in identifying and correcting problem areas, and/or the improvement of care and services.
  • Provide resident care according to health care providers orders and in accordance with regulatory requirements, recognized nursing practice, established standards, and Company policy.
  • Accurately administer prescribed medications, supervise the continuity of resident care, respond to changes in resident condition, medications, or other circumstances requiring special care needs and perform first aid as required.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
