About The Position
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a part-time temporary position in the Emergency Department at Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital in Moose Jaw. The role involves promoting health and healing, and providing education as a member of the health care team to achieve optimum care for clients, patients, and residents in all phases of health care. The SHA is the largest employer in Saskatchewan, employing more than 45,000 staff and is committed to providing coordinated, quality, seamless, safe, and patient-centred services. The position has an expected start date of May 18, 2026, and an expected end date of September 29, 2026, with an FTE of 0.64. Shift information includes days and weekends, with 8 shifts of 11.78 hours per 4 weeks.
Requirements
- Practical Nursing diploma
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Basic - Leadership skills
- Basic - Interpersonal skills
- Basic - Communication skills
- Basic - Organizational skills
- Basic - Computer skills
- Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to work independently
- Valid driver's license, where required
- Bring a valid Criminal Record Check (CRC) to the interview; it must be dated within six (6) months and include a vulnerable sector search
