LPN, Licensed Practical Nurse - Chesterfield
About The Position
Cooperative Home Care is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support an adult patient in Chesterfield, Missouri. The role provides private-duty nursing, allowing nurses to build one-on-one patient relationships while working a schedule that fits their lives, outside the hospital or facility environment. The schedule is 32 hours per week on weekend day shifts. Pay is $32.00 to $35.00 per hour. Sign-on bonuses are available based on shifts worked; nurses may qualify by working as little as one 8-hour shift per week, with larger bonuses for taking on more hours. Cooperative Home Care has provided in-home care since 1986 and aims to help patients remain in their homes. The company describes its environment as supportive of field staff and provides classroom, on-the-job, and local-hospital training, including training for higher-acuity clients.
Requirements
- Hold an active LPN license in the state of Missouri.
- Hold an active CPR certification; the employer can provide a class if the certification is not active.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care according to physician’s orders and in accordance with recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
- Assist clients with home and social activities and actively promote independence at home.
- Complete all necessary clinical documentation.
