About The Position
Cooperative Home Care is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support an adult patient in Chesterfield, Missouri. This private-duty nursing role provides one-to-one patient care in the home and offers a schedule intended to fit the nurse’s life, without the hospital or facility environment. The schedule is 32 hours per week on weekend day shifts, and pay is $32.00 to $35.00 per hour. Sign-on bonuses are available for picking up shifts; nurses may qualify by working as little as one eight-hour shift per week, with larger bonuses available for taking on more hours. Cooperative Home Care provides classroom and on-the-job training, including training through local hospitals to prepare nurses to care for higher-acuity clients. Requirements
- Active LPN license in the state of Missouri.
- Active CPR certification; the employer can provide a class if certification is not active.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care according to physician’s orders and in conformance with recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
- Assist clients with home and social activities and actively promote independence at home.
- Complete all necessary clinical documentation.
