About The Position
The Lutheran Home Skilled Nursing is seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for a full-time role in their skilled nursing facility. This position offers a higher hourly rate through a Pay in Lieu of Benefits (PIB) program, allowing nurses to earn up to $39.00 per hour. The LPN will be a key member of the nursing team, responsible for helping residents maintain their highest level of health, comfort, and independence in a supportive long-term care environment. The role involves working alongside an experienced clinical team and making a meaningful impact on residents' lives.
Requirements
- Active Illinois Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- At least one year of Long-Term Care experience

- Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care and oversee resident wellness
- Observe and report changes in resident condition
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Support individualized care plans and clinical interventions
- Partner with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure accurate charting and regulatory compliance
- Foster positive relationships with residents and families
