About The Position

Lawrence Presbyterian Manor is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants’ day-to-day activities. The role requires supervision in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as direction from the department director or supervisor, to maintain the highest quality of care. The LPN is expected to put residents first, recognize the Community as the residents’ home, help create a homelike environment, and model person-centered care. This is an evening position, with a starting rate of $28.00 per hour plus a weekend differential under a premium pay plan. Additional pay is based on experience.

Requirements

Graduate of an approved LPN program.
Current license to practice as an LPN in the state.
Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, and of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.

Nice To Haves

Previous geriatric nursing or long-term care experience.
I.V. certification.
