About The Position

Tryfacta is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for our client in Bronx, NY 10461-2723. This is a 105-week contract assignment. The work schedule includes Day (7:30 AM–4:00 PM), Night (11:45 PM–7:45 AM), and Evening (3:55 PM–11:55 PM) shifts. The pay rate is $35 - $38/hr on W2.

Requirements

• Valid New York State LPN license issued by the New York State Education Department
• Ability to work required weekday, weekend, and holiday shifts
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and patient-care skills
• Ability to comply with NYS OASAS and ATC policies
• Successful completion of all required background and screening processes
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and provide an I-9 for verification

Responsibilities

• Medication administration and specimen collection
• Attentiveness to patients' medical and other needs
• Provision of nursing treatments
• Gather patient measurements, signs and symptoms
• Conduct building checks for safety hazards and ensuring patient safety
• Crisis intervention
• Complete documentation in patient electronic medical records, as well as staff communication logs and other required forms as needed
• File patient record forms in the appropriate location within the record
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
