LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse, Overnights
About The Position
Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers with 18 locations across 7 states. Offering the very highest standard of medical and clinical treatment, our services span every level of care - including detox, residential, PHP IOP, and outpatient services. Avenues is both JCAHO and CARF accredited, and in full compliance with all ASAM standards. We are looking for a compassionate professional who appreciates stimulating yet meaningful work to join our all-star team. Now hiring a part time or full time LPN: Overnights (7pm-7am) on Thursdays and Fridays with an option of Wednesday, day shift (7am-7pm).
Requirements
- Minimum one year diploma program post - high school
- Current LPN licensure necessary to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented, efficient worker with ability to multitask
- Compassionate, dignified character which models recovery principles
Responsibilities
- Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge
- Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs
- Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care
- Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client
- Provide patient education in individual and group settings
