About The Position

Silverado Bellingham is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), also described in the posting as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), to provide compassionate clinical care to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role combines clinical expertise, empathy, and relationship-building in a team-focused environment. The nurse serves as a liaison between residents, families, and physicians; provides clinical support and assistance with daily living activities; monitors resident health; documents care; and helps maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging environment. This is a PRN (per diem) position, with hours filled as needed and the possibility of different shifts and days. The listed schedule is Sunday through Wednesday. The anticipated pay range is $40–$47 USD. Employment offers are contingent on background check, drug screening, physical, and TB testing if applicable.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Vocational Nursing program.
Active LVN/LPN license.
Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
Effective verbal and written communication in English.
Able to perform active work involving walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working around animals and pets.
