About The Position

VitalCore Health Strategies (VCHS), a leader in Correctional Health Care, is seeking Full-Time and Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for various shifts (Day, Evening, Night) at Sussex Correctional Institute in Georgetown, DE. The LPN delivers quality care consistent with the state nurse practice act, monitors patients as directed by healthcare leadership, and may delegate duties. Requirements

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
Availability for at least 3-4 weeks for on-site training (for PRN and Full-Time Day/Night shifts).
Must be available for multiple shifts including Day, Evening, and Night.
Must be available to work every other weekend.

Nice To Haves

PRN staff must be available for at least 3-4 weeks for on-site training.
PRN staff required to work 2 shifts per month.
PRN rates differ from Full-Time & Part-Time Employees.

Responsibilities

Deliver quality care consistent with the scope of practice for Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses.
Perform tasks, activities, and functions as delegated.
May make assignments of duties to others as defined by the state of practice act.
Provide monitoring of patients as directed by the HSA, DON, RN, or Medical Director or other practitioner.
