About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse works in a private practice setting and travels to practice locations in and around Chicago, Illinois. The LPN works under the supervision of a Physician Assistant or Doctor and provides compassionate patient care. The ideal candidate has experience with urological procedures. The role includes recording patient medical histories, performing simple urological procedures, maintaining sterility, and working efficiently without compromising patient care. The position requires the ability to lift 40–50 pounds.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.
Proven experience as an LPN or in a similar role.
Successful completion of an LPN license program.
Ability to undertake a variety of care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team.
Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures.
Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology.
Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry.
Ability to lift 40–50 pounds; the description also requires excellent physical condition and stamina.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassion and ability to handle stress.
Eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
