CREC is expanding its team of Licensed Practical Nurses in our Strive Program in Clinton. The STRIVE Program partners with local school districts, families, young adults, state agencies, and community resources to provide comprehensive transition planning and services. STRIVE prepares young adults for post-secondary life by assisting them in realizing their potential, addressing their needs, and meeting goals related to daily living, career planning, and opportunities for adult learning. We are currently seeking a full time licensed practical nurse to provide appropriate care for ill, medically fragile and/or injured students; providing health information and serving as a resource to parents, teachers, staff, and administrators; and identifying health problems for referral for proper treatment while working within their scope of practice and under the direction of a registered nurse within the building or the Assistant Director of Health Service in a nurse's absence facilitate and strengthen the educational process by improving and protecting the health status of children and by identifying and assisting in the removal or modification of health-related barriers to the learning process for each child.
