About The Position

The company is a medical and recreational cannabis grower on the East Coast with a mission to grow the highest-quality cannabis at affordable prices. They are looking for passionate individuals to join their team and help democratize cannabis. The company is expanding its operations and brand presence in the MD/DC market.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must pass a Federal and State criminal history background check.
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Do not have allergies to plant materials or nitrile gloves; this position requires daily exposure to cannabis plants and nitrile gloves.
  • Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
  • Maintain open communication with the management team and other co-workers.
  • Strong work ethic; must be accountable and proactive.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace in a high production environment!
  • Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in all cultivation related tasks including cloning, transplanting, trellising, defoliation, waste disposal, sachet hanging, as well as sanitizing rooms for reset.
  • Participate in all harvest tasks including but not limited to chopping, weighing, hanging, waste disposal, inventory management and sanitizing equipment.
  • Participate in all bucking tasks including but not limited to removing plants from dry room, bucking of raw plant material, collecting flowers, trim, and waste separately, weighing, and storage of dry flower.
  • Participate in the cleaning of gutters, tables, and irrigation lines to be able to reset the tables for the following cultivation drops.
  • Participate in all tasks associated with trimming and sorting of raw cannabis to bring to market to include physically weighing, bagging, as well as sanitizing workstations.
  • Pre-opening of pre-packed finished flower bags.
  • Review completed units to verify correct weight and detect any visual defects.
  • Application of all necessary labels.
  • Counting completed units into predetermined case pack sizes.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Responsible for following all standard operating procedures (SOP) operational guidelines, verbal directives, training information, and policies when performing duties.
  • Maintain accurate data and equipment logs and a clean and organized work environment.
  • Maintain open communication with the management team and other co-workers about daily production output as well as challenges faced throughout the workday.
  • All other duties as necessary.
