About The Position

Helms Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable, and passionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide private-duty skilled nursing care in the home. This role offers flexible scheduling for full-time and part-time opportunities, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while making a meaningful difference in patients' lives. As a Private Duty LPN, you will provide individualized, skilled nursing care in a comfortable home setting, focusing on one-on-one patient care.

Requirements

• Current NC or Compact State nursing license
• Familiarity with home skilled nursing needs
• Experience with caring for patients on a ventilator, g-tube and tracheostomy and or be willing to train
• Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Monitor patient conditions and accurately document care provided.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), range of motion exercises (PROM), and safe lifting and transferring.
• Provide care for patients using Trilogy ventilators, tracheostomies, and other skilled nursing equipment.
• Communicate promptly with our scheduling team regarding patient needs and schedule updates.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and their families while helping them achieve the highest quality of life.
