About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Tucson, AZ. This position involves monitoring patient vital signs, administering medications and treatments, assisting patients with daily activities, maintaining accurate patient records, supporting healthcare teams, providing basic wound care, educating patients and families, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Active LPN license (state-specific as required)
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of practical nursing experience in a clinical or hospital setting
- Knowledge of basic nursing practices and patient care techniques
- Ability to follow care plans and work under supervision
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the RN or physician
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in EMR systems
- Support RNs and healthcare teams in implementing care plans
- Provide basic wound care and assist with medical procedures
- Educate patients and families on basic healthcare needs and follow-up care
- Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols
- Respond appropriately to patient needs and emergencies within scope of practice
