About The Position
Main Line Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Breast Surgical Specialists team in Wynnewood, PA. This role is within the Main Line Healthcare Physician Practices and focuses on assisting the office care team with data collection, assessments, and care planning to provide age-appropriate and diagnosis-focused care. The LPN will play a crucial role in enhancing the patient experience and will collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to meet patient needs and provide optimal care. The position offers opportunities for professional development, including tuition reimbursement for advanced nursing degrees.
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited school of practical nursing.
- A current Pennsylvania LPN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact is required.
- Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
- Ability to communicate proficiently in English (both verbally and writing) to perform job duties.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of clinical office experience, preferably in the specified discipline of the practice, is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist the office care team with data collection, assessments, and care planning.
- Provide age-appropriate and diagnosis-focused care.
- Consult with the patient/family and appropriate healthcare professionals to facilitate meeting the patients’ needs.
- Provide education and guidance to patients and their significant others based on individual needs and level of understanding.
