The Hampton Roads Clinic (HRC) offers a unique and specialized program for adults with a long history of dependence on opiates such as prescription pain medications, heroin, and morphine. At HRC, we provide comprehensive outpatient treatment and recovery services for individuals who have an opioid use diagnosis using methadone prescribed by a licensed physician. In addition to offering the evidence-based medication, methadone, we provide a continuum of psycho-social services to include counseling, peer support, care coordination, and referrals to other social support services. Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board is hiring a full-time LPN nurse for our Hampton Roads Clinic in Newport News, VA, with an expected schedule of 4:30 am - 1 pm and annual pay of $54,000 + a $3,000 sign-on bonus. This role supports outpatient care for adults receiving opioid treatment. Your day as an LPN nurse starts early at the Hampton Roads Clinic, where the morning pace is steady and focused. You'll connect with clients, support a calm intake flow, and work closely with the care team to keep treatment moving efficiently. Throughout the shift, you'll coordinate with clinical partners, monitor how clients are responding to care, ensure information is communicated clearly across the team, and provide excellent service to those we serve. The environment is structured, safety-minded, and client-centered-well-suited to an LPN who values accuracy, empathy, and consistent follow-through in opioid recovery services.
