About The Position

Whitehall Borough Post Acute is hiring full-time Licensed Practical Nurses at its 166-bed skilled nursing and post-acute care facility in Whitehall Borough, Pennsylvania. The role is offered on 8-hour shifts—6 a.m.–2 p.m., 2 p.m.–10 p.m., or 10 p.m.–6 a.m.—on a two-week rotating schedule. The position pays $36 per hour and includes same-day pay through PayActiv.

The LPN provides direct nursing care to residents and supervises the day-to-day nursing activities of CNAs. Working under the supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON), the LPN helps ensure compliance with current state, federal, and local standards. The role is supported by a long-tenured clinical team and accessible leadership.

Employees may also pursue nursing education or specialty goals through the tuition and loan reimbursement program and may pick up PRN shifts at other facilities in the regional network after onboarding.

Requirements

• Hold a current, unencumbered license to practice as a nurse in Pennsylvania and maintain good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Maintain all required continuing education.
• Hold active CPR certification; BLS with skills is preferred.
• Show compassion for a vulnerable population and willingness to advocate for patients.
• Understand Patient Rights.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Point Click Care (PCC) is helpful.
• BLS certification with skills is preferred.

Responsibilities
