About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse works in the Skilled Nursing department at Lakeshore at Siena in Racine, Wisconsin. The role involves administering medications, performing lab tests and therapeutic treatments, collecting vital data for assessments, monitoring patients for adverse reactions, educating patients and families about treatment plans and post-discharge self-care, and identifying hazards and initiating corrective actions to help maintain a safe environment. The schedule is evenings/nights and full-time.

Requirements

• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse licensure obtained before the hire or job transfer date.
• BLS Provider certification obtained within 30 days of the hire or job transfer date; American Heart Association or American Red Cross certification is accepted.
• High school diploma equivalency or one year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience. Required professional licensure or certification may be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities
