Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN
About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse conducts comprehensive assessments of residents' health conditions, including vital signs, and develops individualized care plans. The nurse administers prescribed medications and treatments, documents care accurately, and monitors for side effects. Responsibilities include providing direct nursing care such as wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management; coordinating resident care with the healthcare team, physicians, and families; and supervising and supporting CNAs and other healthcare staff through guidance and training. The role also ensures compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols, and provides emotional support and education to residents and families. The available shift is second shift, part-time PRN.
Requirements
- Hold a State of Iowa LPN License.
- Be compassionate, dependable, and motivated to serve others.

Responsibilities
- Assess residents' health conditions, including taking vital signs, and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, document them accurately, and monitor for side effects.

- Coordinate resident care with the healthcare team and communicate with physicians and families.
