About The Position

Merakey is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work on the AVS campus, which includes 5 residential buildings and 6 group homes totaling 107 residents. This role provides direct nursing care to adults with developmental and physical disabilities. Responsibilities include completing clinical assessments, administering medications, managing acute medical emergent conditions, providing enteral feedings, and performing respiratory treatments and care. Merakey AVS is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing homes and comprehensive services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), many of whom have severe or profound IDD, multiple physical disabilities, extensive medical complications, and may require support for challenging behaviors.

Requirements

• Current license as an LPN in the Commonwealth of PA.
• A current and valid PA driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience as an LPN preferred.
• Genuine interest in working with individuals with physical and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities
