Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) –Overnight Shift
About The Position
Avenues Recovery Center is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for the overnight shift (7pm-7am) at its newest Detox and Residential treatment facility in North Chesterfield, VA. Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers offering the highest standard of medical and clinical treatment across all levels of care. The facility is JCAHO and CARF accredited and in full compliance with ASAM standards. The role involves providing quality medical care, coordinating pharmacy and prescription needs, dispensing medication, maintaining med logs, collaborating with medical and clinical teams, and ensuring meticulous medical documentation. Patient education in individual and group settings is also a key responsibility.
Requirements
- Minimum one year diploma program post - high school
- Current RN or LPN licensure necessary to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented, efficient worker with ability to multitask
- Compassionate, dignified character which models recovery principles
Responsibilities
- Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge
- Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs
- Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care
- Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client
- Provide patient education in individual and group settings
