This position involves working cooperatively with Northwest Health Services (NHS) providers, supervisors, and personnel to carry out the goals and objectives of NHS. The role requires treating all individuals with respect, including patients, fellow employees, management, customers, vendors, and visitors. Key duties include preparing patients for examinations, administering medications and treatments, assisting patients with mobility, providing patient education, maintaining exam rooms and equipment, triaging patient calls, administering injections, preparing patient records for referrals, drawing labs, preparing lab specimens for shipment, assisting physicians with procedures, answering patient and hospital phone calls, reviewing charts for completeness, documenting patient information in the electronic medical record, determining medical supply needs, maintaining tracking logs for labs, x-rays, and referrals, attending meetings and in-services, documenting assessments and treatments, and complying with all regulatory agencies, directives, standards, and regulations, including HIPAA. The role also involves performing other duties as assigned.
