About The Position
Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients in the Reception Diagnostic Unit at Idaho State Correctional Institution in Kuna, Idaho. The LPN works under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical staff, and psychiatric staff to respond to patients’ physical and mental health needs. Centurion Health provides comprehensive healthcare services to correctional facilities, state hospitals, and other community settings through contracts with state and local governments.
Requirements
- Idaho Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, or ability to obtain one.
- Active, appropriate certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including a drug screen and criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients in the Reception Diagnostic Unit.
- Respond to patients’ physical and mental health needs under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical staff, and psychiatric staff.
