Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse, in good standing, in the State of Missouri
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must successfully pass the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) criminal background check.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Must be able to provide a copy of his/her own social security card for W-4 documentation.
  • Must be able to provide applicable documentation(s) for I-9 in order to establish identity and authorization to work in the US.
  • Must have valid driver’s license, personal automobile liability insurance, and acceptable driving record (if required to drive).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Long Term Care preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the delivery of resident care through the nursing process: assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation and evaluation.
  • Responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for his/her resident based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
  • Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient resident care delivery and achievement of desired resident goals.
  • The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for meeting the established standards of his/her profession and for practicing within the scope of licensure adhering to state regulations.
  • Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care and demonstrates positive outcomes in resident care.
