About The Position
CLF Consultants LLC, doing business as CLFC Healthcare and Communications, is expanding its Mississippi clinical roster to support on-site assignments at State of Mississippi agency healthcare facilities in and around Natchez. Assignments are scheduled through CLFC's BRIDGE App, which posts available shifts, captures your claim, and confirms coverage in advance. Scrubs, required immunizations, background screening, and licensure verification are provided at no cost to you. Professional liability coverage is carried by CLFC. A dedicated Program Manager is your single point of contact for scheduling, escalation, and pay questions. Multi-year assignment potential as CLFC expands its Mississippi coverage. Hours are assignment based and vary by facility demand. This is not a guaranteed hours position.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Current, unrestricted Mississippi Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing, or a multistate license with privilege to practice in Mississippi under the Nurse Licensure Compact.
- One year of experience as a practicing Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Current on vaccines required by the assigned facility, including influenza and COVID-19.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in long term care, behavioral health, developmental disability, or correctional healthcare settings.
- IV certification where permitted by Mississippi scope of practice.
- Prior agency, per diem, or contract nursing experience.
- Availability for weekend, holiday, night, or short notice coverage.
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medication and medical treatments following standard nursing procedures.
- Monitor the physical and mental condition of assigned patients and report changes to the supervising nurse.
- Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and members of the health care staff.
- Provide documentation, prepare reports, and maintain patient records in the facility's systems.
- Participate in regular in-service training.
