About The Position

CLF Consultants LLC, doing business as CLFC Healthcare and Communications, is expanding its Mississippi clinical roster to support on-site assignments at State of Mississippi agency healthcare facilities in and around Natchez. This is an assignment-based W-2 position with compensation ranging from $51.00 to $67.00 per hour, determined by experience, credentials, and shift availability. Additional differentials are paid for weekend, holiday, and hazard shifts. Assignments are managed through CLFC's BRIDGE App, and CLFC provides scrubs, required immunizations, background screening, licensure verification, and professional liability coverage at no cost to the employee. A dedicated Program Manager serves as the single point of contact for scheduling, escalation, and pay inquiries. Potential for multi-year assignments exists as CLFC expands its Mississippi coverage. Hours are assignment-based and vary by facility demand, and this is not a guaranteed hours position.

Requirements

  • Current, unrestricted Mississippi Registered Nurse license in good standing, or a multistate license with privilege to practice in Mississippi under the Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • Current Mississippi authorization to practice as a Nurse Practitioner, in good standing.
  • Certification as a nurse practitioner by a recognized national certifying body.
  • Ability to practice in collaboration with one or more physicians as required by the State of Mississippi.
  • Two years of experience as a practicing Nurse Practitioner.
  • Current on vaccines required by the assigned facility, including influenza and COVID-19.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in state facility, long term care, behavioral health, or correctional healthcare settings.
  • Experience with electronic health record documentation in a facility environment.
  • Prior agency, per diem, or contract clinical experience.
  • Availability for weekend, holiday, or short notice coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver care within the full scope of practice for nurse practitioners in Mississippi as requested by the facility and required by the population served.
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions for the assigned patient population.
  • Prescribe and manage medications and treatments consistent with Mississippi scope of practice and facility protocol.
  • Collaborate with the designated physician and facility clinical leadership on medical direction and supervision.
  • Document care, prepare reports, and maintain patient records in the facility's electronic health record.
