About The Position

AMG Specialty Hospital - Oklahoma City is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Day Shifts. This role involves providing direct and indirect patient care services that meet psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care. The LPN will manage patient communication needs, demonstrate initiative and responsibility in professional expectations under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, and maintain regulatory agency requirements, nursing, and hospital policies and procedures. Responsibilities include communicating with physicians and team members about patient's clinical condition changes, including diagnostic study results and symptomatology, and responding quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. The LPN will also perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. Shift differentials are paid for all weekend shifts. A $5,000 Sign-On Bonus is offered for Full Time LPNs for Day Shifts, along with tuition reimbursement as per the terms of an Employment Assistance Agreement with a 2-year minimum commitment. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
  • Current LPN licensure in State of Oklahoma.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Minimum of six months to one year's work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Meet the communication needs of patient and family.
  • Provide care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
