Licensed Practical Nurse (Lpn) Full Time Days
About The Position
AMG Specialty Hospital - Lafayette is seeking Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for Day Shifts with LTAC experience. LPNs provide direct and indirect patient care services that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meet the communication needs of patient and family; provide care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Maintain regulatory agency requirements, nursing and hospital policies, procedures and standards. Communicate with physicians and team members about changes in patient's clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. Requirements
- Current Louisiana LPN Licensure in good standing
- Current BLS Certification
- Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
- Basic computer skills
Nice To Haves
- LTAC experience
- Acute Care, Med-Surg, Critical Care or ICU experience preferred
