About The Position
Currently seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to fill immediate openings in Hudson, Wisconsin. The position offers weekly pay and states that employees are never mandated. Candidates must hold a current Wisconsin LPN license and have reliable transportation.
Requirements
- Must be reliable.
- Must have up-to-date TB certification.
- Must hold a current LPN license in Wisconsin.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Experienced LPNs are sought.
Responsibilities
- Educate patients and families by assisting with preoperative, postoperative, and other relevant health teaching.
- Prepare and administer medications orally or by subcutaneous or intramuscular injection; record dosage and time in patient records and maintain logs.
- Provide ancillary medical care, including dressing wounds; giving enemas, douches, alcohol rubs, and massages; and applying compresses, ice bags, and hot water bottles.
- Take and record vital signs to monitor patient stability.
- Support patient nutrition by checking food trays against prescribed diets, feeding patients, and recording food and fluid intake and output.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, walking, and turning.
- Observe patients and report adverse reactions to medication or treatment to nursing supervisors.
- Maintain equipment and supplies, including ensuring catheters, tracheostomy tubes, and oxygen supplies are available.
