Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Experience in a Surgical Unit
• Ability to participate and assist in data collection
• Ability to contribute to the development of a plan of care
• Ability to implement a plan of care
• Ability to collaborate with team members
• Ability to evaluate the plan of care with patients and families
• Commitment to seeking educational resources to enhance knowledge and skills

Responsibilities

• Participates and assists in data collection in a systematic and organized manner to provide high quality and safe outcomes.
• Contributes collected data to the development of a plan of care in collaboration with other healthcare professionals that contributes to high quality and safe outcomes.
• Implements a plan of care with measurable criteria consistent with world class performance levels.
• Collaborates with other team members to evaluate the plan of care with the patient and family/support system to maintain world class levels of patient satisfaction and outcomes.
• Contributes to a high performance work environment by seeking educational resources that enhance and maintain current knowledge and skills.
• Performs other duties as assigned or requested
