Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Registered Nurse (RN) | PRN
About The Position
Radford Green at Sedgebrook is seeking a hospitality-focused Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing care in its senior living community. The role is PRN and may cover unit shifts as needed in assisted living (AL) and skilled nursing (SNF). The nurse is responsible for completing clinical reports accurately and on time as directed by the Director of Nursing (DON), including reports related to infection control and incident or abuse investigations. The position also participates in a call rotation and requires availability for community emergencies. The PRN rate is $40 per hour, with a $1.50 differential for evening and night shifts. Day, evening, and night shifts are available.
Requirements
- Hold a current nursing license valid in the state where the position is worked.
- Be willing to be available for any or all community emergencies.

Responsibilities
- Complete clinical reports accurately and on time as directed by the DON, including infection-control and incident or abuse investigation reports.
- Cover unit shifts as needed in assisted living and skilled nursing.
- Participate in the call rotation.
- Administer medications.
- Administer treatments, including dressings, catheterization, suctioning, and oxygen.
- Assist with direct resident care as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of medications administered and care rendered.
- Assure resident safety at all times.
- Keep physicians and families informed of changes in residents’ conditions.
