About The Position

Provides direct patient care under the direction of a registered nurse, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, or physician. This role involves collecting data for patient assessments, administering medications and observing for adverse reactions, and educating patients and families based on their learning needs. The LPN will also perform job duties in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, may triage patients and relay information, carry out physician orders, and perform administrative/clerical duties as needed. Additionally, they may perform plan of care interventions.

Requirements

• Applies more advanced skills and knowledge in the area of specialization.
• No experience required
• High school diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or higher required upon hire
• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse and eligible to practice in the state of Kentucky required upon hire
• BLS - Certified as a Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider required within 45 days of employment in this position
