About The Position
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a strong Pediatrics background to provide high-quality patient care in a pediatric healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a patient-centered approach to pediatric nursing care.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Pediatrics LPN experience required
- Active New York State LPN License required
- BLS Certification required
- Strong pediatric patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients under the supervision of an RN or physician
- Monitor and document patient conditions, vital signs, and treatment responses
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assist with patient assessments and daily care activities
- Educate patients and families regarding treatments, medications, and care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Follow infection control, safety, and pediatric care standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support quality patient outcomes
- Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and communicate effectively with providers
