About The Position

Touchmark at Mount Bachelor Village is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse to join their team. This role enriches the lives of residents by ensuring they receive the highest level of dignity and care, with daily opportunities to be a positive presence for residents and their families. The position is a part-time day shift with no overnights or after-hours on-call, but requires availability for one weekend shift and holidays as needed/scheduled. The ideal candidate will be trustworthy, compassionate, committed to customer satisfaction, and possess a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents in a geriatric environment.

Requirements

• Current LPN license in the state of Oregon
• Genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
• Ability to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
• Attention to detail
• Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal
• Enjoy being part of a team

Nice To Haves

• 3-5 years of experience working in geriatric care is preferred

Responsibilities

• Enrich lives by ensuring residents receive the highest level of dignity and care.
• Be a positive presence in the lives of residents and their family members.
• Design and implement care plans for each resident in collaboration with a team of nurses and clinical staff.
• Oversee care staff and assist them in making educated care decisions.
• Process care plans and other required documents in an efficient timeframe.
