About The Position

Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH) in Gravette, AR is seeking a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for its Medication Therapy Department. The LPN, supervised by a registered nurse (RN) and reporting to the Outpatient Services Manager, is crucial in managing all nursing aspects within the department. This role involves providing direct and indirect patient care, addressing psychosocial, physical, and general care needs, and ensuring effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Requirements

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Arkansas or Compact Licensure State.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
• Current ACLS certification upon hire or must be obtained during orientation period or at the next available scheduled class.
• Maintain current ACLS certification throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage all nursing aspects within the Medication Therapy department.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care services.
• Address the psychosocial, physical, and general care needs of patients.
• Ensure effective communication with patients, their families, and the broader healthcare team.
