About The Position

The Medical/Surgical Telemetry Unit at Deaconess Henderson is a 45-bed unit caring for adult inpatient and observation patients with a wide range of medical, surgical, and telemetry needs. From diabetes, COPD, pneumonia, and asthma to CHF, post-MI, CVA, GI conditions, and post-surgical recovery, this unit offers the variety and pace that help nurses build confidence, sharpen clinical judgment, and grow into highly capable clinicians. Nurses care for patients with both acute and chronic conditions, work closely with an interdisciplinary team, and play an essential role in coordinating care, educating families, and helping patients move toward recovery. It’s a fast-moving environment where teamwork matters and no two shifts look exactly the same. This is a great fit for nurses who want strong Med/Surg experience with telemetry exposure, a broad patient population, and the chance to build a skillset that opens doors throughout their career.

Requirements

• Active Kentucky LPN license or valid compact LPN license
