About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works with the Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Medical Director to provide comprehensive, on- and off-site clinical services to members enrolled in the MAT program. They provide medical and support services, including injections, lab coordination, pharmacy coordination, teaching wellness classes, taking vitals, and coordinating with psychiatric and medical providers to ensure appropriate medical care for MAT program participants. The role involves strategic planning, resource management, and process improvement across service groupings, overseeing the implementation of active treatment and nursing care for patients. It also includes managing staffing levels, establishing cost control programs, implementing new programs/services, and establishing quality measures and standards for continuous quality improvement. The LPN will also develop, maintain, and communicate departmental policies, procedures, and practices.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
