About The Position

As a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Grayslake, IL. Schedule: Full-Time / 40 Hours Per Week Mon & Wed 10:00 am - 7:00 pm; Tue, Thu & Fri 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (closed daily for lunch 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm)

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Ability to provide care to client employees and their dependents
• Proficiency in medication administration
• Experience with wound care
• Skill in observing reactions to treatments
• Competence in specimen collection (urine, blood, sputum)
• Knowledge of medical equipment maintenance
• Understanding of infection control procedures
• Ability to maintain accurate patient health records

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice
• Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Performs other duties as assigned
