Schuyler Ridge is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for full-time and part-time roles across all shifts. Schuyler Ridge is a 120-bed skilled nursing facility offering Sub-Acute Rehabilitation, Long-Term Care (LTC) on neighborhood-style units, and a dedicated Memory Care Unit. We focus on providing quality of life for both residents and staff, with smaller units to avoid burnout and large patient loads.
Requirements
- Current LPN licensure in New York State
- Ability to remain calm, organized, and effective under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective team collaboration abilities
- Solid time-management and prioritization skills
- A genuine passion for providing respectful, compassionate resident care
Nice To Haves
- Prior long-term care experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate nursing care under RN supervision
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and assist with treatments
- Support residents with daily living activities and overall well-being
- Collaborate closely with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary team members
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and providers
- Document care accurately in electronic medical records
- Maintain safety, cleanliness, and infection control standards
- Serve as a professional, caring representative of the nursing team
