About The Position

Minden Medical Center is hiring a well-organized, energetic LPN/CMA to support our Haughton Clinic on a full-time, days schedule. This role is essential to keeping clinic flow smooth and ensuring patients receive timely, compassionate care in a fast-paced setting. Key responsibilities include supporting providers with clinical tasks, preparing patients for visits, performing ordered treatments and injections, completing accurate documentation and EMR updates, monitoring for medication reactions, and coordinating timely communication with physicians and patients.

Requirements

• Current Louisiana LPN license required
• 1 year of physician office experience preferred
• Familiarity with spirometer, glucometer, stethoscope, exam tables, BP cuffs, wheelchairs, fax/copier, computer/telephone, Athena Software

Responsibilities

• Supporting providers with clinical tasks
• Preparing patients for visits
• Performing ordered treatments and injections
• Completing accurate documentation and EMR updates
• Monitoring for medication reactions
• Coordinating timely communication with physicians and patients
• Welcoming patients as rooms open
• Keeping spaces clean and stocked
• Reviewing charts for results and flagging abnormalities
• Addressing urgent items in the clinical inbox within 30 minutes
• Helping patients and families understand office or hospital procedures
• Assisting with outbound calls and same-day messages to providers
• Protecting patient information with a tidy workspace
